Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) business. The ideal candidate will be the key technical advisor and sales lead for our portfolio of UPS systems, ranging from small commercial units to large, modular, data-center-grade solutions. You will be responsible for understanding complex client needs, designing tailored power protection solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition to secure new business and maintain existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within key vertical markets such as Data Centers, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Finance, Oil & Gas, and Industrial Manufacturing
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets for UPS products and related services (maintenance, installation, etc.)
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, from technical staff to C-level executives
- Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact and needs analysis to quotation, negotiation, and closing
Technical Consultation & Solution Design
- Conduct detailed site surveys to assess client power requirements, load profiles, and infrastructure compatibility
- Design and engineer optimal UPS solutions (including battery backup, power distribution units, and monitoring systems) using our product portfolio
- Create and deliver comprehensive technical proposals, including line diagrams, bill of materials, and detailed cost estimates
- Provide expert advice on UPS technologies (e.g., Online, Line-Interactive, Transformer-based, Transformerless), battery technologies (VRLA, Li-Ion), and system redundancy (N+1, 2N)
