Position Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding team. The SDR is responsible for delivering qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team and plays a critical role in growing our business.
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who is persistent about meeting KPIs, organized, and accountable for team success. You will be responsible for actively seeking new business opportunities, engaging and building relationships with potential customers, and expanding our customer base.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should be creative in crafting compelling sales and outbound lead generation emails and messaging. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and possess strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales and lead generation strategies to attract new potential customers through inbound and outbound tactics
- Support inbound and outbound lead generation through cold calls, emails, and marketing campaigns
- Contact and engage prospects to understand their basic needs and assess interest
- Qualify leads using standard criteria (BANT) before passing to the sales team
- Schedule meetings, calls, or demos for account managers with qualified leads
- Follow up with prospects who showed interest but did not convert
- Maintain and update lead and pipeline data in CRM systems
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support pipeline growth and campaign effectiveness
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Lead Generation Executive, or similar role in a B2B technology business
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant sales development experience
