## Title: Sales and Business Development Manager – FMCG

Position Overview

African Industries Group (AIG) is seeking an experienced and highly driven Sales and Business Development professional to join our team in Abuja. This role focuses on expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, and managing business development activities across Northern Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and business development across assigned territories
  • Develop and manage distributor and channel partner relationships
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand product reach
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business strategy
  • Travel extensively across all Northern States, including Port Harcourt
  • Provide regular market intelligence, sales reports, and forecasts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in Sales or Business Development
  • Strong background in FMCG sales (mandatory)
  • Experience handling large territories with extensive travel requirements

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of Northern Nigeria markets
  • Willingness to travel extensively
