Job Summary
Our client company is seeking a results-driven Sales and Business Development Executive to expand the client base, with a key focus on attracting FMCG companies and other businesses in need of reliable transport and logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential FMCG companies and other businesses that require logistics and haulage services
- Develop and implement strategic plans to win new clients and grow market share
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends
- Generate leads, prepare proposals, and present tailored logistics solutions to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Negotiate and close contracts that align with the company's growth goals
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and provide regular reports on business development activities
- Represent the client company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
- Follow up on customer feedback to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition, preferably in the logistics or FMCG sector
- Strong network and knowledge of the FMCG market (added advantage)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain solutions
- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
