Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of animal feeds, veterinary vaccines, premixes, and feed additives, while overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the Ibadan sales outlet.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Functions
- Promote and sell animal feeds, vaccines, premixes, and feed additives to farmers, distributors, and agro-dealers
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Provide technical guidance to customers on product usage and benefits
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts
Administrative Functions
- Oversee the daily operations of the Ibadan sales outlet
- Manage stock inventory, ensure proper documentation, and prevent stock losses
- Supervise outlet staff and coordinate sales activities
- Maintain accurate sales, financial, and inventory records
- Ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation
- Liaise with head office on stock replenishment and operational matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Science, or related fields
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in sales of animal feeds or veterinary products
- Strong knowledge of livestock production and animal health products
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
