Restaurant Shift Manager at J-Six Group

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Restaurant Shift Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence across kitchen production and front-of-house environments while leading a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain overall quality and service standards across all kitchen production and restaurant environments
• Review and sign off on weekly paperwork, ensuring all records are checked during production
• Verify that requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of premises daily and ensure the facility is cleaned before closure of operations
• Monitor service standards throughout the facility and take action to ensure quality is consistently met
• Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to the satisfaction of all involved parties
• Communicate clear direction to staff and provide positive leadership that inspires team members to meet and exceed standards
• Monitor staff performance and encourage improvement where necessary
• Ensure equipment maintenance by arranging repairs and training staff on proper use

• Shift Attendance
• Maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Tertiary degree
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in a fast-food restaurant environment
• Proven track record of meeting daily sales targets
• Problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Ability to manage self and drive a team for increased productivity
• Strong delegation skills with ability to follow through until completion
• Proactivity and initiative

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to work any shift (morning and afternoon)
• Must reside in close proximity to the preferred location (accommodation is not provided)
• Ability to work rotational 8-hour shifts
