## Title: Restaurant General Manager
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Restaurant General Manager at Skyline International Tourism and Hospitality Ltd in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations from opening to closing, ensuring smooth workflow
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate employees; resolve workplace conflicts
- Greet guests, handle inquiries, manage complaints, and build rapport to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage budgets, track sales, control costs, minimize expenses, and report performance metrics
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, manage vendor relationships, and control waste
- Enforce health, safety, sanitation, and company policies, including cash handling procedures
- Implement promotional strategies to attract and retain customers
- Create staff rotas and schedules
- Design menus (as required)
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards
- Report to upper management on operational and financial performance
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality, hotel management, or related field
- Proven management and leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong financial acumen and business knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
