## Title: Research & Development Officer

Job Summary

The R&D Officer is responsible for supporting research, design, development, and testing of new automotive products, components, and technologies. This role focuses on innovation, performance improvement, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards. The R&D Officer works closely with engineering, production, quality, and product teams to drive new product development and continuous improvement initiatives within the automobile manufacturing environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or related field
  • Master's degree or specialization in automotive systems, EV technology, or product design is an advantage

Experience

  • 1–4 years of R&D or product development experience in automotive or manufacturing sectors
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) preferred
  • Experience with testing instruments, validation procedures, or simulation tools (CAE, CFD, FEA) is a plus

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of automotive components, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Analytical skills for testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting design issues
  • Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with CAE tools
  • Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
  • Creativity and technical curiosity with a strong innovation mindset
