Rental & Used Operations Supervisor - East at Mantrac Nigeria Ltd

Position Summary

We are seeking a Rental & Used Operations Supervisor to manage and control rental operations for Power Systems equipment on a day-to-day basis. This role encompasses fleet management, repairs, overhauls, installations, breakdown management, and spares management. You will work to established KPI and budget standards, participate in annual operational planning, and drive profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction through cost control, effective resource utilization, and a strong focus on health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control rental operations for Power Systems equipment
• Manage fleet operations including repairs, overhauls, installations, breakdown procedures, and spare parts inventory
• Meet with all stakeholders and provide regular reporting
• Meet and exceed all health and safety (H&S) and process targets
• Ensure all repairs are completed on schedule
• Oversee Engineers and Technicians to ensure timely job completion without delays or complaints
• Prepare and review dispatch schedules for Engineers and Technicians to customer sites
• Review completed jobs for quality and accuracy
• Provide tools, equipment, and technical information necessary to resolve customer problems
• Estimate repair costs and prepare quotations for major repair jobs on site
• Review Engineers' timecards, service reports, and parts requisitions
• Monitor work orders to prevent delays in job execution
• Prepare quarterly performance reports on Engineers and calculate bonuses accordingly
• Ensure safety Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) are completed on time with proper documentation to the Service Manager
• Prepare accurate warranty documentation within one week of work order completion for submission to the Technical Office
• Investigate customer complaints professionally and provide solutions to customer and company satisfaction
• Maintain technical competency requirements for all service branch positions
• Identify staffing needs and direct training activities to improve team capabilities
• Work toward KPI and budget standards while achieving profit forecasts
• Maximize profitability while maintaining cost control and effective resource management
