Remote Accountant at Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Centre

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our finance team on a remote basis. You will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• OND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions and bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support budget preparation and monitoring
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with payroll processing
• Prepare tax documentation and compliance reports
• Support internal and external audit processes

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Reliable internet connection and home office setup
• Understanding of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience
• Part qualification in ICAN/ANAN
• Experience with hospital billing and HMO reconciliations
• Knowledge of medical terminology (basic)
