About the Role
An established microfinance bank is recruiting a Relationship Manager to identify, onboard, and manage relationships with new and existing customers while driving business growth through deposit mobilization and financial product sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with new and existing customers
- Mobilize deposits in line with assigned targets
- Market and sell the Bank's financial products and services
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive retention and growth
- Conduct regular client visits and relationship reviews
- Source viable loan opportunities and conduct preliminary credit assessments
- Assist clients in loan application processes and documentation
- Carry out customer profiling, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment
- Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayment
- Follow up on overdue facilities and support loan recovery efforts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure accurate account opening documentation in line with KYC/AML requirements
- Educate customers on Bank products, policies, and procedures
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all customer interactions
- Report suspicious transactions in line with AML/CFT guidelines
Requirements
- Full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Adherence to credit policies, operational guidelines, and ethical standards
- Knowledge of KYC/AML and AML/CFT regulatory frameworks
