## Title: Relationship Manager

About the Role

An established microfinance bank is recruiting a Relationship Manager to identify, onboard, and manage relationships with new and existing customers while driving business growth through deposit mobilization and financial product sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with new and existing customers
  • Mobilize deposits in line with assigned targets
  • Market and sell the Bank's financial products and services
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive retention and growth
  • Conduct regular client visits and relationship reviews
  • Source viable loan opportunities and conduct preliminary credit assessments
  • Assist clients in loan application processes and documentation
  • Carry out customer profiling, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment
  • Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayment
  • Follow up on overdue facilities and support loan recovery efforts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure accurate account opening documentation in line with KYC/AML requirements
  • Educate customers on Bank products, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all customer interactions
  • Report suspicious transactions in line with AML/CFT guidelines

Requirements

  • Full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Adherence to credit policies, operational guidelines, and ethical standards
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML and AML/CFT regulatory frameworks
