About the Role

A dynamic healthcare team is expanding and seeking a skilled Registered Nurse and Midwife to join our maternity services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations
• Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting
• Take/Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the relevant professional body
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
• Resident in Ibadan (Iwo Road, New Ife Road axis)
