Regional Security Advisor at MSI Reproductive Choices

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Regional Security Advisor to work with the regional operations team to support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of security management systems. The successful candidate will provide and implement appropriate security controls in a timely manner, participate in the creation and review of security policies, and deliver clear technical advice and recommendations on threats, incidents, logistics, general safety, and external liaison.

Key Responsibilities

Security Management

• Provide updates on regional threat levels and risk assessments
• Ensure standard operating procedures comply with regional operations within the duty station
• Develop contingency plans and special situation reports for the Line Manager and Security & Risk Advisor

Safety Management

• Ensure organisational premises, vehicles, and assets are safe, including fire safety and hazard management
• Secure all regional and state offices and premises within the Area of Responsibility through implementation and management of physical security measures, including perimeter building and store security, safe rooms, and alarm systems

Procedural and General Security

• Maintain high levels of procedural security across all regional offices including access control, visitor protocols, keys management, and guard supervision
• Implement and maintain protocols and contact procedures for red zones, travel times, vehicle documentation, pre-travel authorisation, and equipment protocols throughout the region
• Maintain contextual awareness and security-based networks within the duty station and Area of Responsibility
• Conduct briefings and debriefings for all employees and visitors involved in security incidents
• Maintain effective liaison with government security agencies
