## Title: Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to lead sales operations and drive business growth across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve set monthly sales and marketing objectives in volume and value for assigned region
  • Achieve key sales operation metrics on a weekly basis
  • Coach and develop Medical Sales Representatives to ensure improved selling skills and productivity
  • Manage distributor relationships effectively and engage distributor managers on proactive strategies to grow business within the region
  • Lead the use of Sales Force Automation (SFA) to drive Medical Representative productivity on relevant metrics
  • Leverage SFA to drive quality and improved output across the team
  • Lead the team in implementing all sales and marketing activities as communicated
  • Drive enrollment of new distributors and ensure product availability across key accounts, leveraging Medical Sales Representatives
  • Manage key relationships with customers, influencers, and decision makers in territory
  • Prepare regular market intelligence reports on competitive activity
  • Cascade customer feedback to Head of Sales and share best practices for business growth
  • Ensure timely submission of all required reports to line manager and sales leadership
  • Expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Ensure efficient and effective utilization of allocated resources and deliver strong return on investment
  • Manage Medical Representative expenses and track ROI effectively

Essential Requirements

  • University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Biological/Physiological Sciences
  • Minimum 3 years of sales management experience in Pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors
  • Strong industry contacts and network within the designated region
  • Good commercial skills with ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness on key commercial fundamentals
  • Self-starter mindset with proven ability to take initiative
