## Title: Regional Sales Manager – Pharmaceuticals
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth, lead a sales team, and achieve revenue targets within a specific geographical territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with senior executives to establish sales goals, forecast monthly/quarterly/annual targets, and develop specific plans for regional growth
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, set performance goals, and conduct regular meetings to foster a high-performance culture
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and tailor sales strategies accordingly
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, pharmacies, and key hospital accounts
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations and company policies
- Budget Management: Review regional expenses and manage budgets effectively
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with proven experience in a similar managerial role
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- In-depth understanding of the local pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and regulatory guidelines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities to interpret data and adapt strategies
