Regional Marketing and Communications Advisor at MSI Reproductive Choices

About the Role

This position is part of the Marketing and Communications Team, working directly to support efficient and effective community mobilization activities, strengthen accountability, improve partnerships, policy advocacy, corporate visibility, youth engagement, and stakeholder mobilization.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison, facilitating new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships with policy makers, and religious/traditional and youth gatekeepers at national and state levels, while helping to drive broader partnership goals across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Community Mobilization and Accountability

• Initiate and provide support systems for effective and efficient community mobilization
• Supervise and support officers in the region to conduct effective mobilization activities
• Facilitate and ensure proper community entry activities are conducted during mobilization efforts
• Ensure standard and prompt delivery of mobilization activities against established regional indicators
• Lead training of mobilizers and community-level volunteers on thematic areas
• Conduct on-the-spot checks of mobilization activities in implementation communities

Youth Engagement and Advocacy

• Lead and facilitate innovative youth engagement initiatives
• Drive responsiveness to youth mobilization and service provision needs
• Lead regional advocacy and services marketing for all existing and new projects within the region

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Synergize with the Regional Manager and other teams within the region to ensure effective delivery of tasks and results
