About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Regional Auto Maintenance Manager based in Abuja. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing regional automotive maintenance operations and driving operational excellence across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and motivate regional teams, including service managers and technicians
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Operational Excellence

• Ensure efficient and consistent operations across all locations
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures

Financial Performance

• Manage regional budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue and costs
• Implement strategies to achieve breakdown targets for the region

Quality Fleet Maintenance

• Monitor and improve service quality standards
• Address fleet issues promptly and effectively

Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with overall company goals
• Establish and execute breakdown targets and quality repair initiatives
• Drive operational improvements across the region

Recruitment & Training

• Participate in the recruitment of regional staff
• Ensure staff possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform duties effectively

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all locations adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards
• Maintain compliance with company safety protocols

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with upper management and regional teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment

Problem Solving

• Analyze fleet challenges and identify root causes
• Implement effective solutions to improve performance and address issues

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of first degree in Mechanical Engineering or HND in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the automotive industry

Advantageous

• Second degree or professional qualifications and training in auto mechanics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
