Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Reader in Pharmacology & Toxicology at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching/research experience at the university level
• Minimum of two (2) postgraduate students supervised
• Substantial research background with minimum publications totaling not less than sixty (60) points
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Minimum of four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Visible presence on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum citation count of twenty (20)
• Minimum of four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Minimum of three (3) points in Community Service
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Two (2) favorable external assessments
• For Academic Librarians: Participation in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science
