Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting a Reader in Peace & Conflict Studies.

Key Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching/library experience at university level
• Must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies
• PhD or its equivalent

Academic & Research Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) points from postgraduate student supervision
• Minimum of sixty (60) points from research publications
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Visible on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum citation count of twenty (20)
• Two (2) favorable external assessments

Leadership & Service Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Minimum of three (3) points in Community Service
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal

Additional Responsibilities

• Academic librarians shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science
