An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Federal University Oye-Ekiti as a Reader in Mechatronics Engineering.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification in the area of specialization
• Minimum of six (6) years teaching/research experience at university level
• Minimum of two (2) postgraduate students supervised
• Considerable research background with minimum publications totaling not less than sixty (60) points
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Minimum of four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Three (3) points in Community Service
• Forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or equivalent with minimum citation count of twenty (20)
• Two (2) favourable external assessments

Salary Grade: CONUASS 6

Note: Academic Librarians in this role shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science.
