About the Position

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is seeking a qualified Reader in Electrical & Electronics Engineering to join the academic staff.

Key Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field
• Minimum of six (6) years of teaching experience at university level
• Minimum of two (2) postgraduate students supervised
• Minimum of sixty (60) points in research publications
• Minimum of twelve (12) publications
• Minimum of four (4) papers indexed in Scopus journals
• Minimum of twenty (20) citations on Google Scholar or equivalent
• Four (4) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibilities
• Three (3) points in Community Service
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Two (2) favorable external assessments
• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Supervise postgraduate students in research and thesis development
• Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
• Contribute to academic leadership and administrative responsibilities within the department
• Engage in community service activities
