Quality Officer - Healthcare Sector at Echolab Radiology and Laboratory Services

About the Role

An established healthcare company is recruiting a Quality Officer to join their team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the continuous improvement of quality management processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and maintain existing manuals, procedures, forms, information and records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Develop and implement new documents as requested by the Quality Manager for final approval
• Conduct proofreading and editing of all documents to ensure clarity, grammar accuracy and correctness in collaboration with Quality Departmental team leads
• Upload the most recent documents into the Quality Management system
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely submissions
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations
• Provide training to different departments on Quality Management processes
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal audit reports
• Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of quality incident reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Medical Laboratory Science
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within the Healthcare Sector
• Good functional understanding and application of Quality Management systems
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with ISO standards
