Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer - Batching Plant

Position Overview

Prestigious Homes Limited is seeking an experienced, disciplined, and technically sound professional to join our construction and operations team. We are looking for a qualified candidate with strong experience in property development and large-scale construction projects to oversee quality assurance and control at our batching plant facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and enforce approved concrete mix designs and mix ratios in line with project specifications
• Supervise batching plant operations to ensure accurate batching of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures
• Conduct routine quality control tests including slump tests, cube casting, compressive strength tests, and material grading
• Ensure all concrete produced meets required strength, durability, and consistency standards
• Monitor raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) for quality, storage, and compliance
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain detailed quality records, test results, and production logs
• Liaise with site engineers, plant operators, and project managers to resolve concrete-related issues
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Support continuous improvement of concrete production processes and quality assurance systems

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in QA/QC within construction or real estate
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and testing procedures
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Experience with reputable construction firms is a strong advantage
