Quality Assurance Manager at Reddington Hospital

About the Role

An established healthcare organization is recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager to develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the hospital's Quality Management and Patient Safety programs
• Conduct regular quality audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with national and international healthcare standards
• Monitor and evaluate clinical and non-clinical processes to improve service delivery
• Analyze data and prepare quality performance reports for management review
• Facilitate incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Coordinate accreditation and certification processes
• Provide training and support to staff on quality standards, safety, and best practices
• Collaborate with department heads to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning across all units

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution
• Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Minimum 5–7 years post-qualification experience
• At least 3 years in healthcare quality management, clinical governance, or hospital administration
• Strong knowledge of clinical quality improvement frameworks, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations

Preferred Experience

• Experience with hospital accreditation systems (ISO, JCI, or COHSASA)

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
