About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles
• At least 5 years focused on enterprise-level systems, ideally in financial services or regulated industries handling mission-critical data and transactions

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Deep proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium/WebDriver or Cypress for React-based frontends
• Backend testing library expertise: JUnit (Java), NUnit (C#), PyTest (Python), or Jest (Node.JS/TypeScript)
• Proven experience testing polyglot microservices architectures, including API validation (REST/GraphQL) and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Hands-on experience with performance tools for load and stress testing
• Security testing proficiency with tools such as OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite for identifying vulnerabilities in financial-grade applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
