Public Relation Consultant (Client Service)

About the Role

Brooks + Blake is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a talented Public Relations Consultant to join our Client Services division. You will be responsible for managing client accounts and driving strategic communications initiatives while serving as a key liaison between clients and our internal teams.

Salary

N300,000 – N350,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

• Ensure the smooth running and overall success of assigned client accounts
• Work with senior consultants to develop strategic concepts and integrated projects
• Lead the finalization of project activities, activations, and budgets in collaboration with clients

Client Liaison

• Contribute to clients' marketing strategy and strategic thinking
• Communicate client goals and represent client interests to the team
• Provide regular two-way communication between clients and the team to ensure strong representation and set appropriate expectations

Business Development

• Support senior consultants in identifying and developing opportunities to grow existing business
• Seek opportunities to expand the scope of paid work on accounts and add value to client offerings
• Identify opportunities to build loyal consumer bases for client brands and businesses

Professional Relations & Strategy

• Develop and maintain knowledge of client opinion leader profiles and key stakeholders
• Demonstrate innovation and creativity that extends beyond client initial concepts
• Complete additional ad hoc assignments as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a client-engaging role
• Proven experience as a Client Service Consultant or in a similar position
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects for clients
• Professional experience in a public relations agency, media agency, or advertising agency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
