Job Summary
A London-based architecture and licensing company is seeking a remote researcher to transform public information into clean, organized lead lists. This role involves applying consistent guidelines, tagging data accurately, and locating contact details when available. Ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with routine, systematic work.
About the Role
You will research public information and organize it for marketing purposes. The position begins with clear guidelines, examples, and checklists. As you learn the patterns and gain experience, you will increasingly apply your own judgment to handle edge cases and contextual decisions. No prior industry experience is required—comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply guideline-based categorization, progressing to judgment-based decisions as you learn patterns
- Navigate multiple pages and documents intelligently; add contact details when available
- Maintain list hygiene through light text clean-ups, filtering, and de-duplication using provided templates
- Follow consistent workflows, track completed tasks, and flag unclear items for review
- Take on expanded responsibilities after further training, such as marketing operations and basic QA/reporting
Qualifications
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, Information Management, Records and Archives Management, Information Resources Management, Knowledge Management, Documentation and Information Studies, English Language, or Linguistics
Alternative Qualifications:
- National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in related programs (e.g., Records/Information disciplines or Office Technology and Management)
- 1–2 years of professional experience in Records, Documentation, Research, or Data Quality roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel
