Project Transport Officer – FCT

About the Role

The Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is seeking a qualified Project Transport Officer to join our team in Abuja. Working under the supervision of the Admin Officer, you will provide essential transportation and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of our project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide transportation support to staff and project activities
• Handle vehicle fueling and maintenance while ensuring adherence to the organization's transport and security policies
• Provide logistical support as requested by the project office and line manager
• Maintain responsible driving standards at all times
• Ensure vehicle documents are correct and kept up-to-date
• Record all vehicle movements in the vehicle logbook
• Keep vehicles in clean and good working condition with adequate fuel levels at all times
• Avoid parking and driving violations that could result in fines
• Maintain punctuality and uphold the highest ethical standards
• Perform additional assignments as requested by Management and Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• SSCE or Diploma level education
• At least 4 years of professional driving experience with NGOs
• Valid Nigerian Driver's License
• Good spoken and written English language skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within Nigeria and sub-regional countries

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with a reputable NGO
