Project Transport Officer

About the Role

The Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is expanding its team and seeking a Project Transport Officer to join our Lagos office. Working under the supervision of the Admin Officer, you will provide essential transportation and logistical support to our staff and project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide transportation support to staff and project activities
• Manage vehicle fuelling and maintenance while ensuring adherence to organizational transport and security policies
• Provide logistical support as requested by the project office and line manager
• Maintain responsible and safe driving standards at all times
• Ensure all vehicle documents are correct and up-to-date
• Record all vehicle movements in the vehicle logbook
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition with adequate fuel levels maintained
• Avoid fines through proper parking and adherence to traffic regulations
• Maintain punctuality and uphold the highest ethical standards
• Perform additional assignments as requested by management and supervisor

Required Qualifications

• SSCE or Diploma level education
• Minimum 4 years of professional driving experience with NGOs
• Valid Nigerian Driver's license
• Good spoken and written English language skills
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Nigeria and sub-regions
• Experience working with a reputable NGO (advantageous)
