An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Zigma Limited as a Project Monitoring Manager in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress and performance against established plans, schedules, and budgets
• Implement effective project monitoring systems to track key metrics and milestones
• Analyze project data to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Generate comprehensive project monitoring reports for management and stakeholders
• Provide timely and accurate updates to project stakeholders on the status of ongoing projects
• Evaluate project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations
• Gather actual data, update project schedules, and develop reliable schedule forecasts with support from the project team
• Liaise with managers and employees to discuss project progress and address any issues that arise
• Keep the client team up to date on progress for presentation to the client
• Present project information for internal meetings
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate project monitoring tools and technologies
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization in project monitoring processes

Document and Records Management

• Update and maintain document management systems and physical records
• Maintain the security of confidential documents
• Prepare tenders
• File and archive relevant documentation
• Retrieve files for other employees and customers when needed
• Control the flow of documents in and out of the department

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in project monitoring within the oil and gas industry
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of SharePoint
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
