Project Manager at BigSun Africa

Job Purpose

BigSun Africa seeks an experienced and dedicated NGO Project Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they align with our mission and objectives.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure project success. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to achieve organizational goals
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, donors, and beneficiaries to ensure projects meet their intended impact
• Identify project needs and funding opportunities
• Manage budgets effectively and ensure all activities are completed on time and within budget
• Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project results to stakeholders and donors
• Evaluate project outcomes and implement improvements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in project management, preferably within the nonprofit sector
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong leadership capabilities
• High attention to detail
