We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented Project Lead to join our team for the Green Schools for Climate Action Project. This role is ideal for a professional who can take ownership of both the strategic and operational aspects of a high-impact, climate-focused initiative.

You will lead overall planning, execution, and performance management while collaborating with internal teams, managing field-based activities, and coordinating with schools, communities, government agencies, and technical partners to ensure project objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

• Lead overall planning, execution, performance management, and strategic decision-making
• Translate strategic direction into actionable implementation plans
• Provide strategic oversight on climate resilience, behaviour-change approaches, and sustainability integration
• Conduct curriculum climate change gap analysis for secondary and tertiary education and recommend interventions
• Lead and manage research activities
• Lead scenario planning, risk mitigation strategy, and project adaptation processes

Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

• Coordinate engagement with schools, communities, state/local government agencies, and technical partners
• Represent the project at strategic stakeholder forums

Project Oversight & Quality Management

• Monitor and manage project progress, risks, KPIs, and quality benchmarks across all project components
• Review tools, frameworks, and key documentation from the Delivery and Implementation teams
• Ensure compliance with donor, institutional, and environmental standards

Reporting

• Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for key stakeholders
