About the Role
The Program Officer is responsible for working with the organization's program team on the planning and implementation of projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and achieving program goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement programs aligned with the organization's mission and strategic goals
- Conduct needs assessments and research to identify community priorities and target beneficiaries
- Develop project proposals, logical frameworks, work plans, and budgets
- Oversee and coordinate program activities to ensure timely delivery of outputs and milestones
- Supervise field staff, volunteers, and partner organizations to ensure effective program execution
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, donors, and stakeholders
- Ensure programs comply with donor requirements and organizational policies
- Maintain accurate records of program activities and transactions
- Prepare and submit reports to donors, management, and other stakeholders
- Provide training and capacity-building support to staff and volunteers
- Oversee multiple projects and manage cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BSc/HND in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Residential proximity to Yaba
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HIV, TB, OVC, or KP interventions
- Experience managing USAID or Global Fund grants
