About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Program Officer to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of ACE-1 project activities across the state. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality delivery, financial accountability, and effective stakeholder engagement in line with donor expectations and project targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review monthly and quarterly work plans and prepare activity memos
- Ensure at least 90% of planned activities are executed within approved timelines and budgets
- Conduct monthly joint field monitoring visits and generate actionable reports
- Oversee RFI implementation, cluster-level documentation, and archiving
- Track and review program expenditures and initiate corrective actions for deviations beyond ±10%
- Submit monthly pipeline and expenditure analysis reports
- Maintain up-to-date monitoring checklists and budget tracking tools
- Facilitate advocacy and coordination meetings with key stakeholders
- Produce monthly stakeholder bulletins
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports
- Maintain organized electronic archives of all project documentation
- Provide HR management support by updating the State Ad hoc Personnel database and ensuring completeness and accuracy
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Public Health, Project Management, Business Administration, or a recognized equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience with international development programs; OR
- Master's Degree (MS/MA) in Public Health, Project Management, Business Administration, or a recognized equivalent with 2-3 years of relevant experience with international development programs
