About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within Catering to Africans In Need (CAIN). We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive the execution of our mission and strategic goals across multiple African countries, ensuring measurable impact and long-term vision alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership – Drive the execution of CAIN's mission and strategic goals, ensuring measurable impact, growth, and long-term vision alignment.
- Program Oversight – Design, implement, evaluate and scale high-impact educational programs across multiple African countries, focused on empowerment and systemic change.
- Data Management and Analysis – Collect, manage, and analyze relevant data from all programs, ensuring CAIN makes data-driven decisions.
- Financial & Resource Management – Lead budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to ensure accountability, transparency, and resource optimization.
- Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement – Build and nurture strong relationships with donors, NGOs, government bodies, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Operations & Team Management – Oversee daily operations, while managing staff, volunteers, and project teams to ensure smooth and effective program delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure full compliance with local and international legal, financial, and operational regulations, including nonprofit and sector-specific standards.
- Fundraising & Grant Management – Secure significant funding through compelling grant proposals, strategic partnerships, and donor engagement. Develop and execute effective, sustainable fundraising strategies.
- Research & Innovation – Monitor trends and emerging practices in education and development, introducing innovative solutions to increase CAIN's reach and relevance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of implementing and evaluating high-impact programs, preferably in the education sector.
- Proven track record of raising funds through grant writing and donor engagement.
