## Title: Professor of Surgery

About the Position

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Professor of Surgery at the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences.

Required Qualifications

PhD degree or Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (or equivalent) in a relevant field
Minimum of 25 published scientific journal articles
At least 6 of these journal articles must be in impact factor-rated journals
Successfully supervised a minimum of 1 PhD student and 3 Master's students, or at least 5 Master's degree students
A minimum of 3 years as an Associate Professor (Reader), or at least 5 years as a Senior Lecturer at a recognized degree-awarding institution
