## Title: IGCSE Physics Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Physics teacher to deliver the Cambridge International curriculum to secondary school students. You will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a learning environment that promotes critical thinking and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach IGCSE Physics in alignment with Cambridge standards
  • Design and implement structured lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including mock exams and IGCSE exams
  • Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and feedback to help students reach their full potential
  • Participate in training, workshops, and school events to stay updated with educational best practices
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and school goals

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or a related field
  • Preferred: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Desirable: Cambridge IGCSE training or certification

Experience

  • Minimum: 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IGCSE curriculum school
  • Preferred: Experience preparing students for IGCSE exams with a proven track record of academic success

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IGCSE Physics content
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to student needs
  • Skilled in designing and grading assessments aligned with IGCSE standards
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
