Production Manager at Orange Drugs

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Production Manager at Orange Drugs in Lagos, Nigeria.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure production processes and product storage comply with cGMP requirements by checking facility maintenance, machines, and equipment, and coordinating with the engineering team for repairs and maintenance
• Ensure operations run smoothly without loss of time or accidents through collaboration with HSE personnel to identify risks and implement controls
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in production, such as 5S and continual improvement initiatives
• Work closely with PPIC on production schedules to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
• Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations to meet company expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment while exceeding customer expectations
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring regulatory and company standards and practices are adhered to

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production
• At least 2 years in a managerial role

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
