Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Personnel to manage the purchasing of goods and services for the hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate procurement records. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of hotel departments by providing quality supplies at the best value.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source reliable suppliers for food, beverages, equipment, linens, cleaning materials, and other hotel supplies
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms of purchase to achieve cost savings without compromising quality
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and inventory reports
- Work closely with department heads (kitchen, housekeeping, front office, etc.) to forecast and fulfill supply needs
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Inspect delivered goods for quality, accuracy, and compliance with hotel standards
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with the hotel's financial and operational policies
- Report on market trends, supplier performance, and procurement challenges to management
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree
- 1–2 years of work experience
