Procurement Operations Analyst at Rotation and Precision Machines Limited

About the Role

As a Procurement Operations Analyst, you will manage RFQ requests and source suppliers and vendors for the company. You will liaise with internal departments and suppliers, analyze and compare product samples, and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure optimal value and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all RFQ requests and manage supplier sourcing for local and international vendors (direct and indirect purchases)
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best value for money and achieve cost savings
• Raise requisitions for all company purchases to appropriate cost centres
• Establish and maintain SLAs with the sales team for request turn-around times
• Make recommendations for alternate procurement options while ensuring accuracy of needs, amounts, and cost centre allocation
• Ensure all requests are addressed within 48 hours
• Track all requests via CRM system to prevent oversight
• Monitor and rank suppliers on pricing, quality, and response speed to guide supplier selection
• Maintain security of the company's supplier database
• Obtain and assess quotes from multiple suppliers, compiling detailed cost breakdown analyses
• Manage strategic sourcing of new and existing vendors to achieve maximum savings
• Stay informed on latest industry techniques and procurement methods
• Develop customer satisfaction goals and coordinate with team to meet daily objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in procurement
• Solid understanding of procurement business practices and pricing margins
• Advanced analytical skills, particularly with spreadsheet applications
• Strong people management and issue resolution capabilities
• Proven customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Focus on order fulfillment and supplier relationship management
