About the Role
Felton Energy Services Limited is seeking a Procurement Officer to develop and implement processes related to procurement and sourcing activities. You will work closely with the Procurement Lead to ensure efficient progress reports and successful execution of procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet company objectives
- Identify and establish partnerships with reliable suppliers
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and finalize purchase details
- Examine and test existing contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations
- Build and maintain a supplier database for procurement purposes
- Perform data analysis to anticipate changes in market conditions and prepare control strategies
- Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control procurement spend and foster a culture of long-term cost savings
- Follow up on procurement enquiries and leads to ensure successful outcomes
- Prepare and submit tender and proposal packages
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Procurement Lead
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
