Primary Art & Design Teacher at Millie's British International School(MBIS)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Primary Art and Design Teacher to join our team, teaching one day per week. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art education within the British curriculum and a strong commitment to encouraging artistic expression in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach high-quality art and design lessons to primary-level pupils (Years 1–6)
• Confidently deliver instruction in drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, pottery, sculpture, and model-making techniques
• Foster independent, pupil-led learning and artistic exploration
• Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes artistic expression and appreciation
• Assess and evaluate students' artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Use computers and technology effectively to enhance learning experiences

Required Qualifications

• B.A. or HND Degree in Fine Arts
• Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience at primary level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Word and PowerPoint)
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

• Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
• Subject specialist with expertise in primary-level art and design education
