Job Summary
The Pre-Sales Engineer – Networking is responsible for providing technical and commercial support for Ha-Shem's networking business. The role involves working closely with the sales team and customers to identify networking requirements, design optimized solutions, and drive successful project delivery. The individual will serve as the technical expert on networking solutions including LAN/WAN infrastructure, wireless, security, data center networking, and network management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying networking opportunities across enterprise and public sector clients
- Participate in client meetings to gather technical requirements and design appropriate network solutions
- Prepare and deliver solution proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to customers
- Collaborate with OEM partners to align solutions with customer needs and Ha-Shem's business goals
- Contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for networking products and services
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, proposals, and pipeline forecasts
Technical Solution Design
- Design and document high-level and detailed network architectures based on customer requirements
- Recommend best-fit technologies, equipment, and solutions covering switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, and data center networking
- Develop Bills of Materials (BoM), network diagrams, and technical documentation for proposals and bids
- Ensure designs meet scalability, redundancy, performance, and security standards
- Support proof-of-concept (POC) and product evaluation processes
Customer Engagement and Support
- Conduct technical presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase Ha-Shem's networking solutions
- Work with customers to address technical inquiries and provide expert guidance
