Poultry Farm Supervisor at J-Six Group

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Poultry Farm Supervisor at J-Six Group in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pen house operations and oversee daily farm activities
• Provide direct training and monitoring of pen attendants
• Conduct regular inspections across all divisions to assess pen conditions, crops, feed quality, and livestock health
• Direct and supervise attendants on feed quantities, pen house cleaning, and overall welfare of staff, birds, and equipment
• Observe birds and report any cases of disease or infection to relevant management
• Report faulty equipment to the Production Manager promptly
• Maintain daily records of feed consumption, bird inventory, and egg crate production
• Advise management on optimal timing for selling birds based on productivity levels
• Evaluate worker performance and maintain discipline standards across the farm

Requirements

• Minimum OND/HND qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in poultry farming (required)
• Management experience (preferred)
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to oversee teams, delegate tasks, and ensure completion

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary: ₦100,000
