## Title: Poultry Farm Equipment Maintenance Technician

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in poultry farm equipment maintenance and automation systems.

Installation and Startup: Assemble and set up automated poultry equipment, including feeders, waterers, climate controls, egg collection systems, processing equipment, machinery, power equipment, and monitoring tools
Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, and cleaning on all farm automation and machinery to maximize efficiency and minimize breakdowns
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components; repair issues or coordinate with specialists when needed
System Oversight: Use control panels and software to monitor all automated and power systems, making adjustments as necessary and quickly addressing any alarms or irregularities
Record-Keeping: Maintain well-organized maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment performance reports for compliance and ongoing improvement
Staff Training: Instruct farm staff on proper operation and routine maintenance of automated systems, ensuring all personnel are up to speed
Safety and Biosecurity: Follow all health, safety, and biosecurity protocols to safeguard both workers and livestock from hazards and disease
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify ways to improve processes, reduce costs, boost efficiency, and enhance animal welfare through technological upgrades and innovations

HND, Bachelor's degree, or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Agricultural Engineering

Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and diagrams
Keen attention to detail, with dedication to safety and quality standards
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and respond to emergencies
