Programme Overview

The Federal Ministry of Works invites applications from skilled and unemployed plumbers across all Local Government Areas in Nigeria to participate in the Capacity Building and On-Site Training Programme. This initiative, aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to strengthen national technical capacity, empower young Nigerians, and support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects throughout the country.

Eligible candidates will be deployed to contractors handling Federal Ministry of Works projects within or near their respective regions. Participants will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and project-based exposure while contributing to ongoing Federal Government construction and infrastructure works.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be a Nigerian citizen aged 18 to 45 years
• Possess recognized vocational training, trade test certificates, or verifiable practical plumbing experience
• Be unemployed at the time of application
• Be physically fit for construction-related field work
• Be willing to undergo additional training, safety certification, and supervised project attachment
