Job Summary

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Physics Teacher. The Physics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, effective, and student-centered lessons aligned with the school's curriculum. Key Responsibilities

Lesson Planning & Delivery

• Prepare and deliver well-structured, interactive, and engaging lessons in Physics
• Use diverse instructional strategies to cater to varying student abilities and learning styles
• Ensure lessons align with curriculum standards and academic objectives

Student Assessment & Support

• Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and practical sessions
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes
• Offer academic support and mentorship to students as needed

Classroom Management & Learning Environment

• Maintain an organized, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning
• Foster a culture of curiosity, respect, and responsibility among students

Collaboration & Professional Development

• Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and improve teaching practices
• Engage in continuous professional growth through training, workshops, and research

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. (Ed) or B.Ed. in Physics or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2–3 years of proven teaching experience in a recognized institution
• Strong knowledge of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB curricula and examination standards
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to use modern teaching aids and digital learning tools effectively
• PGDE or relevant teaching certification (added advantage)
