Role Overview

The Physics Teacher delivers educational instruction to secondary school students in physics. You will create lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment that supports academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective physics lessons to secondary school students using varied teaching methods and resources
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning needs
• Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student progress and understanding
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to promote improvement and mastery
• Maintain discipline and create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student behavior
• Identify students needing additional support and provide extra help or recommend appropriate resources
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to enhance the educational experience
• Participate in professional development workshops and training to stay current with teaching strategies and subject knowledge
• Engage in school events, meetings, extracurricular programs, and committees that contribute to the school community
• Act as a mentor and guide to students, encouraging their academic and personal growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Physics (or relevant science discipline)
