Role Overview

An exciting full-time, on-site opportunity for a motivated Pharmacist to join our team at Procare Hospital in Abuja, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
• Advise patients on drug usage and medication management
• Counsel patients on proper medication administration and adherence
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory and stock levels
• Ensure safe handling and storage of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulations
• Maintain compliance with healthcare laws and pharmaceutical regulations
• Provide training and education to staff on drug protocols and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with a relevant degree from an accredited institution
• Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare laws and compliance standards in Nigeria
• Expertise in pharmaceutical dispensing, dosage calculations, and medication safety
• Strong understanding of drug interactions, side effects, and patient counseling
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical storage regulations and inventory management
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy
