About the Role

Daiik Engineering Ltd seeks a dedicated IT Security Officer to protect and manage the security of our Process Control Domain (PCD) systems and related IT infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity and safety of our industrial operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats such as malware and unauthorized access that could affect industrial operations
• Implement and maintain security controls for Process Control Domain (PCD) systems and related IT infrastructure
• Conduct risk assessments, manage deviations, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity management systems and procedures
• Handle PCD security incidents, including forensic analysis and remediation planning
• Manage and administer PCD assets, including security patches, user access management, and disaster recovery plans
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations staff to balance security needs with operational requirements
• Provide security assessments and approvals during the change management process for system and network modifications
• Regularly review and update security policies and procedures
• Perform vulnerability assessments and manage remediation of identified gaps
• Manage user access privileges and revoke access for employees who no longer require it

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Expertise in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) security
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, endpoint security, and intrusion detection systems
• Experience with security operations, including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems
• Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations for industrial control systems
